Ethernet Transceiver mit RJ-45 (AUI, RJ-45)
These transceivers provide connection to the Ethernet network cable from an Ethernet-based device. They provide the necessary signal amplification for data to be transmitted to the network cable from the port, and vice versa, to receive data from the network cable.
Device ports not equipped with on-board transceivers need to have transceivers attached to them before they can connect to the network cables. These ports include the AUI port of the Ethernet device and the MII port of the Fast Ethernet device.
These ports allow you to flexibly connect to different types of network cables, including the copper twisted-pair cable and the single-mode and multi-mode fibre cable.
