DICOM Digital acquisition unit for capturing medical still images on CD-R This model is discontinued and replaced by P500MDB or P500MDC.
Ease of use.
Simply select the patient name before the procedure and then select the destination of the images afterwards.
Write images directly onto CD-R.
The P500MD writes images onto a CD-R complying fully with the DICOM standard (single session, DICOMDIR created). A simple DICOM viewer is on every CD so that images can be viewed on any computer and inserted easily into presentations.
Simple to control.
A remote control can be connected to the USB port using a single button interface to ‘capture’ one image, or by three-button interface, where each button can be programmed.
Peace of mind.
A backup of each image and basic patient ID information is temporarily captured on the hard disk in case of failures.
Clear image identification.
Because of the DICOM standard valuable information such as procedure date, patient’s birth date, patient name and unique ID of the used equipment is always stored with each image. This information comes from the Hospital Information System.
Integration into hospital DICOM network.
When access is allowed, any DICOM workstation can query the P500MD for patient images and retrieve images or studies.
