Samsung K5 comes with a satisfying classy design, and I do admit that the sleek touch sensitive interface, blue button menus, and built in speakers is the strength of the Samsung K5. The model is available as a 1GB, 2GB or 4 GB which also comes with a...

The MP3-player landscape is littered with me-too merchandise, so a new product needs a little something extra if it’s to rise above the noise. Samsung’s YP-K5 succeeds with clever slide-out speakers and a 1.7-inch OLED screen; unfortunately, its $210 a...

Earlier we had tested a Samsung MP3 player; the YP-Z5Q. The player was quite good, but the pricing was not really the expected type and the biggest Con was the missing FM tuner. That isnt the case in the YP-K5.
Great design, Good sound output, Impressive integrated speaker, Image viewer, Good battery life...
Expensive, FM tuner did not work...
The in-built speaker of the YP-K5 will amaze you. They not only sound good but play pretty loud as well. The speaker set consists of two 0.5-inch drivers on both ends of the player. Most phones see in-built speakers and by far the phone with best spea...

With slide-out speakers and touch-sensitive buttons, the Samsung YP-K5 is in a league of its own. Should you play ball, or find a different game?...
Great sound. Reliable, easy-to-use alarm clock. Interesting, unique design replaces the need for tiny, external speakers.
Lousy transfer software. Uncomfortable headphones. Screen is a bit washed-out. A bit bulky for a portable device.
The Samsung YP-K5 certainly tries to stand out from the crowd with its unique, slide-out speakers. We suppose this player is targeting a niche crowd, looking for a portable party (and something to wake them up the next morning), and for that crowd we...
